Aesthetics arent the only reason to tidy up the garden. Remember our discussion about good cultural practices, and how these can help reduce pest populations? Always clean up all crop debris at the end of the season. Compost any healthy plant material; destroy diseased plants. Remove vines and take down temporary trellises, then store them for the winter. Youll be glad you did!
