Salute to Sponsors
Through broad-based support of NGA's Garden in Every School® programs, sponsors of NGA programs demonstrate their commitment to our vision to empower every generation to lead healthier lives, build stronger communities, and encourage environmental stewardship through educational gardening programs. Beginning with 50 Youth Garden Grants in 1982, NGA has delivered just over 10,000 grants and awards worth over $4 million, reaching an estimated two million young gardeners.
NGA's Garden in Every School® Initiative
NGA's Garden in Every School® youth programs speak to core issues. From environmental education topics and nutrition to interdisciplinary studies, the garden offers a range of social, environmental, and personal benefits to participants. School, youth, and community gardens improve educational test scores, may help reduce the incidence of childhood obesity, foster an appreciation of nature, strengthen communities, improve participants' health and wellness, and more. By supporting NGA's nonprofit work, Garden in Every School® sponsors link their brand to a cause that impacts an ever-growing segment of the population and help us fulfill a rising demand for our gardening services and programs. We salute these visionary sponsors!
